Lucy Finn

VSOM Manager

Originally from the Outer-Hebrides, Lucy came to the Village School of Music to take on the role of manager and principal class-coordinator in December 2014, allowing Colin to finally "retire".

In her short time here she has breathed new life into our little school. Many of the recent changes - discount structure, new website and new classes - ukulele - vocal groups - violin groups - are all down to her hard work and immense organisational skills.

Lucy's background is in Higher Education. Since moving to the big smoke in 2005, she worked for the UK’s leading global provider of diverse education and training for Accountants and Financial professionals. Working as an Account and Business Development Manager, Lucy's biggest achievement to date was her involvement in securing a tender with the United Nations to deliver training to students across the world.

While not acting in a tutor role at the VSOM, Lucy’s life has been immersed in music from an early age coming from a very musical family and studying guitar and voice through school.

Lucy has an eclectic taste in music, from the Beatles - Mogwai - Arcade Fire - Beyonce, and everything in-between. You will usually find her smiling behind the reception desk on a Saturday and Sunday greeting students and parents, while simultaneously carrying out 4-5 other tasks effortlessly.
