Guitar Classes

At The Village School of Music

From Classical to Jazz to Metal - We Have it Covered

The Village School of Music originally started as a guitar school, and safe to say, guitar is still by far the most popular instrument we teach, so we have four phenomenal guitar tutors on staff to take care of business!

Piano Classes

At The Village School of Music

Covering all bases.

Whilst learning piano you will study literally every aspect of music: melody, harmony, chords, chord structure, treble clef, bass clef, rhythm, and timing. This makes piano study the most comprehensive way to learn about music.

Don't worry if that all sounds double-dutch just now, with the right tuition it's as easy as falling off a log.

Keyboard Classes

At The Village School of Music

Keeping it Simple

Keyboard is a great way to get started in music whether you are young or old. Within weeks you could be playing your favourite songs using the rhythm accompaniments on your keyboard. Quite often keyboard is used as an introductory instrument before moving onto piano.

Bass Classes

At The Village School of Music

The Unsung Hero

So many people assume bass is for the failed guitarist, being easier because 'it only has four strings', but this could not be further from the truth!

Laying it Down

Drums. the one instrument that virtually everyone, at some point in their life, has wanted to play; and who can blame them - in life you're not often handed sticks and told to go hit stuff and generally make a racket! But as much fun as they are, learning proper technique at the start is definitely recommended.

Vocal Classes

At The Village School of Music

Pitch, Tone, Strength & Control

Everyone can sing, just some have more confidence than others. The key to singing well is as much about confidence, as it is about talent. But if you just have the confidence to try and sing, the ability will follow
