LESSONS

The Village school of Music is actually one of the few places in Scotland which offer beginner to advanced, 5-string banjo tuition. Our banjo lessons are taught by Prof Rob Mairs, who is one of Scotland's most renowned and highly regarded banjo players.

 

Our classes are in high demand, so you may have to endure a short time on our waiting list, but safe to say the wait is well worth it.

 

These hour-long classes are held on a Saturday morning between 9am-12pm.

 

We only have the pleasure of Rob's presence for these three hours, which is why we cannot offer 1-2-1 banjo classes at this time, but to ensure a high quality of lesson, our group lessons have no more than four students per class.
