The violin is one of the most expressive and beautiful sounding instruments, though admittedly not the easiest to master. Our violin classes have grown exponentially over the last two years, and it is all thanks to the immense skill and efforts of our amazing tutor Mairi Thérese Gilfedder MMus.

 

Mairi studied classical violin while growing up in the Outer Hebrides, where she was immersed in the local traditional scene, honing the skills and techniques needed to play both disciplines and styles. She is one of the special few musicians that can teach both traditional fiddle and classical violin from beginner to advanced levels. 

 

At the moment we provide the following 3 formats for violin lessons.

 

Group Lessons - 1 hour - Four students per class.

Semi Private Lesson - 30 minutes - Two - three students per class

Private Lesson - 30 minutes - 1 student per class.
